I initially wanted to make a post with swatches of all the red lip stuff that I own and I did in fact take a day to swatch them all BUT some of the swathes weren't good and I realized it would take me ages before I'd collect and edit them all so I present you a new series of post on my blog - RED LIPS.
Y'all probably know by now that IF I do wear color on my lips, it is almost surely a red color - I'm not very keen of pink lips, nude lipstick sounds pointless to me (if I want nude lips, I'll just wear nothing) and other colors look just wrong (I would, if I had the guts that is, sport a really really dark anything (or pure black) and also, blue and green lips look awesome to me, but that's just me living in a cloud).
One of my latest acquisitions is this jelly lip tint by Essence, which was released not long ago as a part of their new spring assortment. It looked interesting and I thought I'd give it a go - and I'm glad I did!
The tint actually looks a lot better in RL, mainly because no one looks at your lips up close so the wrinkly texture isn't seen like it is on the swatch. Also, after a while you literary get only stained lips, the photo above is taken right after application.
It lasts quite a long time - I didn't really look at the time, but one thing worth mentioning: It smells AND tastes delicious so I just lick it right off and I can't say a lot about how long it stays put, but it IS somewhere in the "stain area".
I love everything about this product - the price, smell, taste, color, longevity .. Have you already tried it? Share your thoughts!

Izgleda ful lep :) Sem razmišljala ali naj vzamem te staine ali ne, samo kar na meni ti ponavadi izgledajo čudno. Barva se vedno prime samo centralnega dela ustnic in izgledam kot da sem nekomu pila kri, lol. Imam pa podobne staine od Bourjois in TBS.

lep. Jaz sem tudi razmišljala ali naj si kupim to ali ne...pa sem se na koncu odločila, da ne, ker že tako ne maram občutka, da imam nekaj na ustnicah :) Včasih mi je še labela preveč:)

ReplyDeleteTale swatch sem pa že na PL videla :) izgleda zelo lepo in verjetno gre naslednjič ko bom v Mullerju z mano ;)
ReplyDeleteNisem ga še preizkusila, ampak bom verjetno vzela enega, da ga stestiram, kako bo izgledal in funkcioniral na meni in če mi bo všeč, bom verjetno vzela še kakega več (trenutno imam nagledane 3 odtenke).
