Here I go with Day 2 of the Summer Challenge.
In this post I told you was gonna update that orange 'doctor' and show you later, so here I am, showing you.
Sunset nails really aren't challenging to plan. The challenging part is how you execute the vision in your mind. And let me tell you, I had A LOT of troubles with this one.
I used yellow (Essence Sundancer), orange (Essence Doc) and red (Essence Fateful Desire) combination. I started off with two coats of Doc, shown here, and then sponged the three colors on top of it. I probably sponged 15 times and finished off with 10 coats of TC. I'm exaggerating, of course, but still. It took me a lot of layers to achieve the gradient look I wanted. I really need to 'invest' in a finer sponge. The one I'm currently using is too rough.
BUT, after I was all done, I really liked the result. Apart from my mani being much thicker than usual, of course. Here are the pictures:
The only thing I would change if I could do this all over, is choose a lighter red, I think the passage between the orange and the red is too obvious. But we all learn from our mistakes ;)

ReplyDeletePa mene sploh ne moti razlika med rdečo in oranžno, se mi zdi, da ni tako opazna, če je ne omenjaš. :P
Ubistvu se ni ravno, ker sem jo nosila samo nekaj ur. :D Nekako nisem bila zadovoljna... Preveč analizirala, našla sto napak, potem pa nisem več zdržala :D
